What should I see in Split?

Must see sights areDiocletian`s palace, St. Dujam Cathedral, basements of the palace, Jupiter temple, Peristil, Food and Fish Market, and Majan Hill.

Where is good to go out?

Best discothèques are Bačvice , Tropic and Vanilla. Best bars are Gaga, Ghetto, Dante`s or Charlie`s.

How much is a beer in the bars?

One beer of 0.5L is more or less 15 kuna or 2€.

Which are the best islands for a day trip?

The island of Brac (town Supetar, Bol& Milna) or the island of Hvar (towns Hvar, Jelsa & Stari grad). Time tables for the ferry you can see on: www.jadrolinija.hr.

Where are the best beaches in Split?

Best beaches for relaxing and swimming are Kašuni, Kaštelet, Ježinac and Žnjan. Bačvice is the only sandy beach in Split, only five minutes from our hostel.

What is the best Croatian drink?

While you are in Croatia you should definitely try Croatian schnapps called Rakija.

Where is good and cheap Croatian sea food in town?

The best food with big portions is restaurant Fife then Bistro Toč and restaurant Šperun.

Can I drink the tap water?

Our tap water is safe to drink and tastes great.

How far is the city center?

We are in the city center.

Check IN check OUT?

Check in after 13:00h. Check out at 11:00h.

Reception hours?

Reception is open from 08:00h til 22:00h. After that period is quiet time when others want to have a good nigh sleep.

Is there lockout or curfew?

No, there is no lockout and no curfew.

Can I leave my bags before check in/ after check out?

Yes, you can. You can leave your bags in our luggage storage before check in and after check out. It is free.

How far away is the nearest beach?

It takes only 5 minutes of walking to the central sandy beach in Split!

Where is the nearest grocery store?

Tommy’s supermarket - 2 minutes from us!

Are there laundry facilities?

We have laundry facilities and it is 50KN for washing and drying-we do it for you.

Do your prices include city tax?

No, our prices are without city tax. City tax is (7kn or 1€).

Do you serve breakfast?

We serve breakfast for 5€ in the nearby restaurant. You can choose between ham/cheese, eggs, butter/jam, cereal/milk, coffee, tea& juice.

Do you rent towels?

Towels can be hired at the reception desk for 1 Euro.

Where can I park my car?

There are lots of free parking spots near the hostel. In the street Kralj Zvonimira where we are located you can always find it. If you need help ask reception staff to show you or guide you to that spots.

What is your cancellation policy?

Guest can cancel the reservation at any time but the last date for cancelation is 7 days before arrival!

What is included in the room price?

Price includes: WiFi& usage of computer, bed linen, lockers, reading lights, air conditioning, city map, coffee& tea all day long, flat iron, hairdryers, adaptors, table tennis in our garden& luggage storage.

How do I get to you from the Airport?

Do you provide pickup from the Airport?

Yes we do. The price is 250 Croatian Kuna.

Is there an age limit?

We don’t have an age limit although the majority of our guests are between 20- 35 years old.

Can I make a reservation in email or by phone?

You can make a reservation only through our booking system or through other online agencies.
